As a Product Designer, you’ll ensure our financial products are functional, seamless, and engaging by conducting user research, creating prototypes, and collaborating with teams. Your role is crucial in helping Mogo stand out in the competitive fintech market and enhancing customer satisfaction.The base salary for this role is: $60,000-$120,000 CADAccepting applications from Canadian based applicants only.What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver Design Solutions: Create user-flows, prototypes, and visuals for features that drive product and customer success.
  • Product and Design Direction: Contribute to the overall product and design strategy, quickly ideating and implementing features without compromising quality.
  • Design System Evolution: Help evolve our internal design system and ensure high-quality implementation by working closely with engineers.
  • Branding and Marketing: Get involved in branding and marketing projects, acting as a Mogo brand ambassador by using our products and sharing feedback.
  • Innovation and Data-Driven Design: Generate fresh ideas, gather qualitative and quantitative data to inform design decisions, and forecast on Moka.
  • Product Prioritization: Attend meetings to discuss product priorities and weekly releases.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product and engineering teams, participate in review sessions, and engage in daily calls.
  • Agile Workflow: Operate in an agile environment, quickly iterating on designs.
  • Challenges:
  • Prioritization and Flexibility: Managing multiple priorities and adapting to a changing environment.
  • Work with UX Tactics and Product Strategy: Utilize a strong portfolio showcasing design work, user experience, and problem-solving processes.

  • Collaboration and Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Ability to analyze data and user feedback to drive design decisions using Looker.
  • Marketing and Branding: Experience in marketing, branding, copywriting, and content creation is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Experience creating animation, using tools like After Effects, and video content creation using Premiere Pro.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to prioritize tasks and adapt in a changing environment.
