Job Description

Overview:WildBrain is looking for Production Assistants! The Production Assistant will be working on tasks from various departments, from Scripts and Storyboards to Animation and Lighting.We are looking for someone who is incredibly organized and calm under pressure, passionate about the details, highly communicative and excited about joining a talented team of industry professionals working to create some of the best quality kids’ content in the business!These roles are set to begin summer 2021.We are currently working virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time our hiring teams are ready to support interviews via video conferencing, and we are enabling artists to work from home until the studio can reopen. We’d love to hear from you! #stayhomestaysafe!Responsibilities:Provide support for Coordinators, Production Manager, Producer and Supervisors as neededTake notes in meetings as neededUpdate Shotgun as changes ariseEffectively listen to, understand, and follow directionsPrioritize and plan own work effectively to meet objectivesParticipate in production meetings and readily modify, respond to and integrate changes as requested by the Producer and Production ManagerAssist and complete any other production-related assignments as they ariseEnsure the Producer’s, Production Manager’s and Series Director’s instructions are carried throughQualifications:You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel such as basic formulas, formatting spreadsheets into presentable formats, exporting data from Excel to other formats, linking workbooks, sorting data for analysis, copying and pasting data sets between workbooks, and a strong ability to create and interpret reportsYou have excellent communication and inter-personal skills (both verbal and written)You have the ability to proactively anticipate the needs of productionYou have detail orientation and strong organizational skillsYou have the ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time efficientlyYou have the ability to work alone and collaboratively, often with multiple tasks and under deadline pressureYou are open to direction and able to embrace changeYou have previous production or administrative experience an assetWhy WildBrainAt WildBrain Studios our teams dig into a diverse range of projects – from preschool and comedy to action-adventure, and work with international partners such as Apple, Netflix, LEGO, DreamWorks, BBC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and more.
