Job Description

Overview:WildBrain is looking for 2D/3D Production Coordinators to join our Vancouver studio!In this role, you will assist the Producer in overseeing the production process, creating the departmental schedules, and managing members of the production crew to keep this show running at full steam! We are looking for someone who is incredibly organized and calm under pressure, passionate about the details, highly communicative and excited about joining a talented team of industry professionals working to create some of the best quality kids’ content in the business!We are currently working virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time our hiring teams are ready to support interviews via video conferencing, and we are enabling artists to work from home until the studio can reopen. We’d love to hear from you! #stayhomestaysafe!Responsibilities:Support the Production team to ensure each department stays on schedule and deadlines are metTrack the Production’s progress against the schedule, and collaborate with the Supervisors to reassign scenes as needed to meet deadlinesUpdate daily reports to reflect progress and/or flag concernsEffectively communicate priorities, issues, and pertinent production info to crewLiaise with other departments to resolve any issues that may ariseTrack crew absences/sick days and informing Production & HRAssist the crew in troubleshooting technical issues and liaising with I.T. to communicate problemsQualifications:You have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsYou possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsYou have a proactive approach to problem-solvingYou have the ability to organize and motivate a talented and diverse crewYou are proficient in ShotgunBonus:Previous experience coordinating in production/animationStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel such as basic formulas, formatting spreasheets into presentable formats, exporting data from Excel to other formats, linking workbooks, sorting data for analysis, copying and pasting data sets between workbooks, and a strong ability to create and interpret reportsAbility to excel in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environmentWhy WildBrainAt WildBrain Studios our teams dig into a diverse range of projects – from preschool and comedy to action-adventure, and work with international partners such as Apple, Netflix, LEGO, DreamWorks, BBC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and more.
