Overview:WildBrain is looking for an experienced Senior Production Manager to join our team!In the Night Garden has been a staple of kids’ TV for over a decade, as a show uniquely designed to relax and calm its audience while entertaining them. Created by the team that brought you Teletubbies, the original style of In the Night Garden included a mix of live action costumed actors, puppetry, stop-motion and 2D animation. Our goal is to retain this original diverse, imaginative style while moving the show fully into photorealistic 3D animation, produced in our Unreal Engine pipeline.Join us as we recreate a large cast of wonderfully silly characters beloved by children and parents worldwide, and take them on brand new imaginative journeys to new places and new friends. Set in a magical forest, dappled with beautiful sunlight and colourful flowers, the series has a stunning look and a whimsical nursery rhyme picture book feel, as well as musical elements. This magical series is a very special one, and we are excited to be part of it.This role is set to begin early 2021.We are currently working virtually because of the Covid-19 pandemic. During this time our hiring teams are ready to support interviews via video conferencing, and we are enabling artists to work from home until the studio can reopen. We’d love to hear from you! #stayhomestaysafe!Responsibilities:Working with the VP of Production and Production Supervisor to support strategy planning for potential projects; creating schedules & assumptions based on creative materials and data from previous productions.Assist in transition of Producers and PMs onto newly greenlit shows ahead of having a Production Manager on the team; Setting up workflow with Pipeline and onboarding new hires.Liaising with Producers to track and manage data across shows in production.Supporting the tracking of production personnel across all shows; collating feedback from Producers and helping to cast for new roles as they come up.General day-to-day support for the Production SupervisorQualifications:You have 5+ years of experience as Production Manager for animated productionsYou have a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Entertainment/Media)You possess a strong ability to organize, multi-task and prioritizeYou can demonstrate effective and professional communication skillsExperience in overseeing and motivating a talented and diverse crewDrive, determination and creative problem-solving skillsStrong knowledge in ShotgunStrong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word and ExcelYou love cartoons as much as we do!Experience with Animation Software such as Adobe Flash/Animate, Autodesk Maya, or ToonBoom Harmony is a strong assetWhy WildBrainAt WildBrain Studios our teams dig into a diverse range of projects – from preschool and comedy to action-adventure, and work with international partners such as Apple, Netflix, LEGO, DreamWorks, BBC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and more.
