Responsibilities and Duties

Closely monitor workflow in and out of the shop and to ensure proper coverage is available
To work towards reducing and eliminating red dos by coaching/aiding technicians to practice good workmanship (“Fix it right the first time”)
Perform inspections of work done to ensure that all quality- and time-related standards are met.
This may include tasks such as careful examination of exterior surfaces of vehicles and checking all paint work done to ensure that it matches existing colors accurately, among others.
Oversee all estimates given to customers, ensuring they offer an accurate assessment of labor hours and parts
Review & monitor Shop productivity and sales earnings reports, understanding KPIs and budgets
Basic knowledge of employment standards and Health & Safety requirements
Leading and coaching staff members
Administer and ensure company policies are being followed
Develop plans for improving shop efficiency and present them to the Operation Team for review
Ensure tools and equipment, including facility, are being serviced and maintained properly
Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

310 B License would be nice,
Min 5 years of extensive practical experience as an Auto Body Manager or Production Manager
Advanced knowledge of the collision repair process
knowledge of Mitchell Estimating System and insurance work would be an asset
