The Project Manager Capital Repairs and Maintenance are responsible for providing project management expertise for planning and executing large capital repair projects, with necessary oversight and direction to cross-discipline team members working with the hotels and restaurants operations and site-based employees. The responsible person will create a team and a system that will achieve high standards meeting budget and operations expectations. Duties include; developing and monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures, organizing and participating in meetings, and ensuring that project deadlines and budgets are met in a timely manner. This role has the opportunity to expand to a more extensive scope in the future.To be successful as a Project Manager, you will need to be able to work on tight deadlines, be competent in using Office 365, have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, have problem-solving, and prioritization skills, and can seamlessly move from active project to active project. Some travel is required.Key Accountabilities:

  • Responsible for creating, maintaining, and monitoring project plans, schedules, budgets, and expenditures.
  • Develop, coach, and mentor a cohesive self-preforming renovation team.
  • Monitor applicable change management process.
  • Contribute to the ongoing continuous improvement process for ongoing or potential future projects.
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable.
  • Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
  • Chair and facilitate meetings where appropriate and distribute minutes to all project team members.
  • Create a project management calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
  • Prepare progress reports and issue progress schedules to relevant parties.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards in the industry.
Essential Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in the field.
  • Extensive (4-10 years) experience/knowledge of facility maintenance, capital repairs, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Knowledge of building systems, schedules, and budgets.
  • Excellent communicator with deep people leadership experience who can coordinate a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Competent in Office 365, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability and willingness to travel.
