Job Description

Position OverviewAs a senior consultant at Proudfoot, you will be at the forefront of delivering a range of consulting activities for transformative projects. You #39;ll guide and direct consultants and client members, managing one or more workstreams through the entire project lifecycle and ensuring successful implementation.Ideal for ex mining company Internal Transformation, Operational Transformation or SAP team member wanting to develop their career.Main Accountabilities

  • Delivery: Accountable for delivering results for one or more workstreams on a mining project (Open Pit, Underground, Quarries)
  • Collaboration: Work with client staff to identify performance gaps and develop solutions.
  • Implementation: Manage implementation, audit results, and take corrective actions as necessary.
  • Training and Development: Conduct workshops, training sessions, and presentations to equip clients with the skills needed for sustainable changes.
  • Relationship Building: Develop results-based relationships with client personnel, actively seeking opportunities for cross-selling and additional work.
Skills and Experience
  • Min. honors a degree in Metallurgy, Materials Science, Geology, or Mining Engineering or Honors degree in Science / Engineering with an MBA
  • 3+ years of work experience in mining or associated operations
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Superior problem-solving and analytical skills, with a true entrepreneurial spirit
  • Significant understanding of the industry dynamics of the mining sector
  • Passion for analytics and developing new approaches to mining data analysis
  • Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
  • Self-motivation and high service-oriented work ethic
  • Willingness to travel up to 80%, with the possibility of rotation for periods of up to one month
  • Multilingual - Fluency in English is the minimum requirement; additional language skills in French is a plus
  • Lean / 6s / Agile Sprint certified
  • Excellence with MS Office applications
