Job Description

Receptionist/Front Desk Administrator (PT with a min of 30 hours per week Monday to Friday with the possibility of FT).Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour + benefits.Receptionist / Front Desk Administrator – Join our fully vaccinated, mask-wearing, safe and inclusive team.Are you an outgoing and experienced multi-tasker with self-initiative Your optimistic attitude and professional demeanor will complement our close-knit, driven team while giving you the opportunity to put your skills to the test. The ideal candidate is someone who is looking to make a difference in a challenging, fast-paced and unique professional environment.Responsibilities:

  • Receiving visitors and appointments in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming calls on a multi-line switchboard.
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail including receiving and arranging couriers.
  • Managing meeting room bookings and updating physical/online calendars.
  • Clerical reception duties (ie: faxing, photocopying, printing, emailing).
  • Following and updating manuals and procedures as needed.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Friendly and professional demeanor with an attentive and positive approach to customer service.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management and multi-tasking abilities while staying focused on objectives.
  • Ability to accurately monitor and track information.
  • Touch typist with a minimum speed of 50 wpm and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Very strong oral and written English communication skills with accurate spelling, grammar and neat handwriting.
  • Great customer service and telephone skills are essential (we know this item is on the list twice – that’s how important we think it is).
Requirements:
  • Minimum one-year previous work experience in a customer service environment.
  • Good understanding of Windows and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Switchboard experience is an asset.
  • Proven experience showing reliability and loyalty.
  • Is someone who brings joy to the people they interact with.
