We currently have locations in the Greater Vancouver area, Victoria and Portland Oregon, the ideal candidate would reside centrally to our locations with the ability to travel between them.WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENTWe foster an inclusive work environment for all, we don’t discriminate on ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation or ability.We support our team in reaching their goals both inside and outside of the restaurant.We are a tight-knit family, with no divide between the front and back of house.We take the definition of team to the next level and operate on an equally split tip pool for all partners.WHO YOU AREROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the Operations Manager with meetings, business reviews, training, etc.Being present and actively contributing to the success of each restaurant location.Corporate link to the restaurant locations for operational issues and inquiries.Perform restaurant audits, profit forecasting and location visits.Overseeing and supporting daily operations of multiple locations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives.Recruiting, training, and supporting general managers and chefs as well as conducting regular performance appraisals.Hosting weekly calls with store operators.Conducting monthly and quarterly meetings with all operators.Ensuring products and services comply with all regulatory and quality standards, policies, and procedures.Assisting with the development and testing of new menu items.Handling escalated customer issues, incident reports and legal actions in compliance with Virtuous Pie’s, WorkSafe BC and employment standards policies.Collaborate with the marketing division for the planning of large events and promotions to drive sales.Analyze regional market trends; specifically, within the plant-based food movement, and discover new opportunities for growth.Support new restaurant openings acting as a trainer to establish Virtuous Pie best practices.REQUIRED SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES3+ years experience as a General Manager in a restaurant.Must have a valid BC drivers license and access to a vehicle as up to 70% of this role involves travel.Ability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Proficiency in MS Office, Google software and CRM software.Ability to generate a variety of reports and presentations displaying regional performance.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Maintain a high level of confidentiality.Availability to travel as needed.BENEFITS:Competitive extended medical package after probation period.Phone allowance.Restaurant discounts.Quick Apply
