The work will focus on applying Convex Lens-induced Confinement (CLiC) single-molecule imaging technology, fluorescence lifetime correlation spectroscopy (FLCS), and bulk fluorescence assays to quantify the interactions between these biomolecules and develop a better understanding of their therapeutic mechanisms. Further, nanofabrication techniques will be used to make glass substrates with embedded nanowells for CLiC microscopy. Techniques employed will include new biophysical and measurement capabilities, as well as biotechnology, wet lab, molecular biology, clean room, and nanofabrication techniques.Organizational StatusReports to the Principal Investigator.
