You will support the Granted team in developing and maintaining Grant Funder relationships. You will also help expand and maintain our database through proactive, in depth research.The successful candidate should enjoy the challenge of developing strong working relationships with key contacts in government via phone/video calls and emails.The role will require an ability to extract grant data and present it into an easy to read format, providing the team with sufficient details about grant programs and their processes.This role will include three primary skills sets:1. Project Management: Run a variety of projects on both a weekly cadence independently and quarterly in collaboration with other Research team members. Assess how much time to allocate to a particular project based on the grant program and how it aligns with Granted’s client base. Projects will follow the lifecycle of funding programs, from inception to completion.2. Data Handling: Procure valuable data via web research, funder updates, referrals and email. Summarizing and publishing grant information intoGranted’s database and upkeep the storage of relevant documents. Verify key pieces of information with grant funders and generate insights for the team and their client base.3. Communication: Seek out key contacts for new grant programs via networking initiatives including phone calls, email, referrals and networking events. You will be liaising with grant funders on a weekly basis and completing updates and changes that are to be documented, published and communicated to the team and our clients.We Are Seeking Candidates Who Have

  • Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline. A degree in Business,
Computer Science or Instructional Design is preferred.
  • Minimum of two years experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with project coordination and management is preferred.
  • Experience working in an academic or research environment is preferred.
  • Experience coordinating activities and resources in project of varying sizes
  • Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
  • Self-directed and willing to take initiative in relation to carrying out assigned tasks.
  • Ability to work independently, under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent time management, organizational and coordination skills.
Additionally, the ideal candidate will:
  • Attention to Detail - Is thorough in research, accurate in information reporting and proactively probes grey areas. Ensures consistency in information provided and maintains a checklist, schedule, calendar, etc. to ensure that small details are not overlooked.
  • Curiosity - Asks questions and looks for data that helps to confirm information or identify discrepancies. Suggests remedies that meet the needs of the situation and those directly affected. Resolves problems and escalates issues appropriately
  • Analytical Thinking - Collates and reports information. Investigates to define problems more accurately. Sorts information in order of importance. Identifies relationships and linkages between components. Identifies variable potential causes and effects. Solicits guidance to define criteria and assign values of importance and urgency. Escalates issues of an exceptional nature.
  • Collaborate - Takes initiative to actively participate in team interactions.
Without waiting to be asked, constructively expresses own point of view or concerns, even when it may be unpopular. Ensures that the limited time available for collaboration adds significant customer value and business results.COMPENSATIONThis posting is for a full-time position. Benefits include vacation time starting at 3 weeks, 1 week allotted to the week between Christmas and New Years. Paid sick leave and 2 personal paid days per year. We also offer 2 paid volunteering days per year and extended health benefits. Annual salary range: $42,000 - $47,000Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $42,000.00-$47,000.00 per yearBenefits:
