Job Description

Due to further expansion, we are seeking Sales Development Representative to help us to continue to dominate one of the most buoyant, fastest-growing industries, that is changing the world and the speed at which we receive items.About us:LineTen is on a mission to crack the code on urban delivery. By leading with our values and putting carrier partners first, we are paving the way for better delivery experiences. LineTen is a new approach to delivery with a free carrier API and an operations management platform for shippers. We're building the first global data-driven last-mile network that has the potential to solve industry-wide problems.We are a home-first team, so this will be a fully remote position. We're looking for someone living in Canada to join our North America team!The position of Sales Development Representative will encompass the following:Lead Generation: 10 new leads in dialogue every week. Find, reach out and develop a dialogue with new opportunities for LineTenClients signed: Sign new customers for Lineten growing the transactions and our customer base in North AmericaClient Account Ownership - ensure commercial, operational, and technical capability is managed to facilitate the best outcome for the client, supplier, and LineTen.Support the building of the client solution - support in client requirement gathering and solution building by translating customer requirements into a successful delivery operation with the operations teamBy performing (these roles & responsibilities)Qualify leads as sales opportunitiesContact potential clients through cold calls and emailsPresent our company to potential clientsIdentify client needs and suggest appropriate products/servicesCustomize product solutions to increase opportunity throughputBuild long-term trusting relationships with clients as the ‘original Account Owner'Proactively seek new business opportunities in the marketSet up meetings or calls with (prospective) clientsReport to the VP of Operations on (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales resultsStay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans which will work best with (these qualifications & skills)And (this experience)RequirementsProven work experience as a Sales Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar roleHands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)Track record of achieving sales quotasExperience with CRM software (Insightly is our CRM system)Familiarity with MS Excel/ Google Sheets (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)Familiarity with Confluence/Jira/AtlassianUnderstanding of sales performance metricsExcellent communication and negotiation skillsAbility to deliver engaging presentationsBSc degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
