Rival TechnologiesCurrently in hyper-growth, we are looking for a Sales Manager to join our rapidly growing sales organization. The Sales Manager will be responsible for hiring, onboarding, ongoing training, and ensuring the Business Development team is successful in meeting the goals set to support the top-of-funnel growth for the broader organization. Our ideal candidate is passionate about team building, is skilled in amping up junior employees, and is highly motivated to identify new business opportunities. You will have regular exposure to our senior leadership team and you thrive on prospecting and sales best practices. Interested Yeah. We thought you might be.*What You’ll Do: *
  • Develop best practice operating strategies and provide direction for the business development team, help to hire, onboard, train, and manage Business Development Representatives (BDRs).
  • Motivate BDRs to meet and exceed goals through coaching and ongoing training.
  • Enhance processes to achieve lead generation goals, report on metrics, and obtain KPIs.
  • Collaborate with the CRO and Sr Director of Marketing on strategies to engage our BDR team, up-skill them, and report on their progress and success metrics.
  • Hire and manage a team of sales business development associates.
  • Create and manage BDR KPIs according to immediate and long-term company goals.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to develop and drive a sales process that will lead to sales pipeline predictability.
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecast, as well as other reports as required.
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to determine tools needed to support the sales team.
  • Implement processes, systems and develop sales resources.
  • Ensuring monthly and quarterly revenue targets are hit.
  • Leading training sessions across the sales team as required.
  • Ensure team-wide CRM activities are up to date.
What You Bring:
  • 3+ years’ experience in a sales leadership role – preferably in tech or at a SaaS company.
  • Dedicated experience in tech sales and the ability to demonstrate deep product knowledge.
  • A track record of sustained performance hitting and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Must be detail-oriented, creative, and have a passion for helping clients achieve their goals .
  • Self-motivated with the ability to establish and maintain solid relationships through a client-first mentality.
  • As part of a diverse team, the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Must be technical, analytical, results-driven, and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Organized, great time management, and have solid writing, phone, and general communication skills.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written). Knowledge of a second language is considered an asset.
  • Willing to participate in ongoing education and training for the role.
