• 2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design
• 1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.

Our team builds on top of the latest AWS serverless technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, CodeDeploy, and CloudFormation, among others.We are looking for a Software Engineer to create and deliver designs, ship excellent code, create fault tolerant systems, and to drive operational excellence at high scale.We have a rich roadmap including launching new products within Amazon MQ that follow our vision of providing customers hands-free messaging at large scale while supporting industry standards. • Experience designing, developing, and deploying large-scale fault-tolerant systems (but dont worry, well train you if you meet the basic qualifications)
• Experience with other languages such as Ruby, Python, or Erlang
• Experience leading and mentoring junior engineers on good software practices and reviews
• Experience developing for Unix environments
• Excellent communication skills
