Job Description

We are looking to hire a Customer Care Manager for our Sea Logistics division based in Vancouver.Your RoleAs Sea Logistics Customer Care Manager, you will manage the coordination of all daily logistics activities required for the transportation of products, through Sea import. You will oversee customer care activities, execution and management. You will also be responsible for profitability of the Sea Logistics Import product in Vancouver. Your primary goals will be retention, business development and organic growth of client base.Your Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to all department staff and guide the growth of the Import product in Vancouver .
  • Manage all human resources related matters for the department.
  • Manage and empower employee development.
  • Conduct regular reviews and meetings to promote department engagement.
  • Manage employee retention.
  • Manage customer retention and growth.
  • Provide all regional partners with market updates and industry updates.
  • Ensure engagement within the business units and other departments
  • Responsible for departments performance, forecasting and development.
  • P&L ownership and management.
  • Maximize profitability of the department.
  • Manage all targets for the department.
  • Identity cost savings opportunities, identify process and procedural improvements.
  • Engage with Field Sales Team, and help build business development.
  • Encourage cross selling activities with customer care team.
  • Ensure complete compliance with all QSHE and legal requirements.
  • Ensure 100% compliance from the Manager of Sea Logistics Import and staff on Code of Conduct.

  • 5+ years of on the job experience.
  • 3+ years in a People Management role.
  • Profit and Loss responsibility for the department.
  • Vast knowledge of Sea Logistics services including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading and drayage services.
