Job Description

The result of this teamwork is high-performance, easy-to-implement and cost-effective 3D sensor technologies that deliver the best results in even the most challenging 3D inline inspection applications.What will you do as a Security AnalystLMI Technologies is looking for a J.E.D.I. to join our team as a Security Analyst to defend us against the dark side.The position will work closely with other members of the IT team to continuously improve our culture, tools, policies and processes around cybersecurity.This position requires direct participation in day-to-day operations such as monitoring of events, threat analysis, system management and documentation.

  • Investigate and respond to potential security threats and incidents
  • Ensure that cybersecurity tools are configured to meet best practices
  • Communicate with stakeholders with findings and recommendations
  • Work with other LMI business units to assess and report on overall security posture
  • Drive internal cybersecurity training for staff
  • Participate and support tasks related to cybersecurity audits
  • Contribute to cybersecurity dashboards, budget plans and reports
  • Work with other members of the IT team to improve systems and procedures
  • Author technical documentation including procedures and incident analysis
  • Participate in the evaluation of cybersecurity tools and consultants
  • Uphold and enforce IT, privacy and cybersecurity policies
  • Perform other duties as required
What do you need to be successful
  • Seniority: from padawan up to a new Jedi knight.Masters, overqualified for this role you are.
  • Combined 3 years of experience in a similar role and/or education related to cybersecurity;
  • Professional courses and certifications such as SANS GIAC, CISSP or equivalent
  • Proficient with;
    • Modern EDR/XDR tools
    • Linux, MacOS and Windows in an enterprise environment
    • Key corporate networking devices such as firewalls, switches and wireless systems
    • Analysis tools such as WireShark
  • Have working knowledge of;
    • Cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure and GCP
    • SIEM’s such as Elastic, Splunk or similar
    • Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, HyperV and VMware
    • Ticketing and project management software
  • Nice to have;
    • Experience with security systems such as CASB, IAM, IDS/IPS and NAC
    • Scripting experience: JavaScript, PowerShell and/or Python
    • Understanding of frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, OWASP, NIST and SOC2
  • Other qualifications:
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities
    • Strong initiative and self-motivated
    • Detail oriented
    • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse backgrounds
    • Professionally fluent in communicating with English
