​Senior Business Analyst - Digital Banking - Canada (Remote)Description:We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with digital banking experience. Aequilibrium is a dynamic and agile tech professional services company. This role will be integral to a collaborative and cross-functional team and contribute to innovative and impactful projects. Who you are: As our Senior Business Analyst, you will provide input on the entire project life cycle, from sales support, discovery, and planning (research, consulting) to the implementation phase.Reporting to the CEO, you will combine an understanding of digital transformation, software development lifecycles, technology platforms, and user interface design principles to help facilitate and support application development and delivery while ensuring project deliverables meet documented specifications.You will be comfortable taking charge of projects by extracting, analyzing, and validating our clients #39; business requirements. This includes documentation reviews, stakeholder interviews, group facilitation, and other requirements-gathering exercises to articulate process flows and business needs. With this information, you will convert requirements into software development specifications for internal and external development teams using various software modeling documentation techniques.What you will be doing:

  • Acting as a consultant and facilitator with a passion for digital and an eye for detail.
  • Assessing and identifying clients #39; business needs.
  • Working with stakeholders and project teams to prioritize collected requirements.
  • Documenting requirements critical to achieving business objectives.
  • Identifying and establishing project scope based on requirements analysis to define impact, outcome criteria, and measure-taking actions.
  • Acting as a customer representative to internal development teams to ensure solutions satisfy client needs.
  • Acting as an ambassador for Aequelibirum and maintaining a close relationship with the client throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Assembling, analyzing, and generating high-quality functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Presenting comprehensive business recommendations and technical functional specifications to clients.
  • Hosting and documenting internal and client meetings.
  • Optimizing and improving requirements gathering and documentation processes in strategy group based on best practices.
  • Diffusing problems and putting forward solutions that are in the company #39;s best interest.
  • Participating in ongoing special projects that support Aequilibrium’s work environment and strategic plans.
Qualificationsamp; Requirements: Must-Have:
  • 5+ years working in a business systems planning role in a Canadian tech professional services environment, fintech, or credit union.
  • Direct client engagement experience in financial services or the banking sector.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment, using cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Experience with business development (pitch support), discovery, planning, and delivery of digital banking platform integration and customization.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with building and fostering client relationships.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and positively interact with multiple stakeholders whilst meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced business environment,
  • A university degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent work experience.
Nice-to-Have:
  • Experience working on digital banking projects with platforms like BackBase, Forge, eBankIT, VeriPark, Intellect Design, or Temenos.
  • Experience with preparing and leading requirements-gathering workshops with the client leadership team focused on digital transformation, particularly relating to digital banking platforms,
  • Scrum Master and/or Product Owner Certified.
