Therefore, we place careful consideration to build an environment where everyone feels welcome and has fun in the process of achieving our shared goals.WHAT YOU #39;LL BE DOING:We are looking for a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join our team of seasoned, passionate and talented game developers at Next Level Games.The engineer will work closely with the Game Director, Tech Director, Designers, Gameplay Team and Gameplay Animators to implement core gameplay mechanics and engine features.WHO WE #39;RE LOOKING FOR:

  • 5+ years professional video game development experience
  • Proficiency in character movement, interactions and controls
  • Expertise using skeletal animation and real-time physics systems
  • Excellent C++ skills
  • Excellent linear algebra skills
  • Good grasp of game design fundamentals
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work productively within a team environment
  • Self-drive and organization
  • Post-secondary degree in Computer Science or similar, or equivalent experience

This is a hybrid position, requiring at least three days per week at our Vancouver studio.The hiring range for this position is $ 100,000 - $ 140,000 CAD annually and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
