We are seeking a friendly, outgoing, and experienced Server to join our team at a new cocktail bar on Commercial Drive. The bar features 35 seats and a small menu of artisanal cocktails and small plates.The Server will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, delivering food and beverage orders, and creating memorable experiences for guests.Responsibilities:- Greet customers and take orders in a friendly, professional, and timely manner- Explain menu items, make recommendations, and answer questions about food and drinks- Ensure that all orders are prepared correctly and meet customer expectations- Check on customers regularly to ensure that they are satisfied with their experience- Upsell additional menu items or specials to customers when appropriate- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including cleaning tables and resetting dishes and utensils- Manage cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently- Work with the Bar Manager and other staff to ensure that the bar is properly stocked and prepared for serviceRequirements:- Previous experience as a server in an upscale restaurant or bar- Strong knowledge of food and drink menus, including cocktails, beer, and wine- Excellent communication and customer service skills- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays- Certification in SIRTo apply: Please submit your resume and cover letter to [email protected]Job Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $15.65 per hourFlexible Language Requirement:
