Job Description

There is an exciting opportunity for a talented professional to join the Construction team in West Vancouver as a Site Coordinator. The Site Coordinator assists in directing, organizing, and controlling project activities, under the direction of the Project Management Team.About the company:For over half a century, Onni has been building communities for people to live, work, and play.   • Generating purchase orders
  • Tracking packing slips
  • Assist with RFIs
  • Liaise between the superintendent, construction management team and sub-contractors
  • Will be working on construction sites
  • Site coordination of projects from start to finish
  • Assist the site super and assistant site super with overall project performance including schedule, quality, reporting, and project status
  • Monitor field work, including contractor’s work, to ensure compliance with Ashcroft standards, procedures, specifications and codes
  • Maintain internal project file structure
  • Review/coordinate detailed construction schedule with project manager, site superintendent, and office project coordinator
  • Review schedules with sub-trades, obtain input and update the schedule as required. Monitor progress on a daily basis and record data
  • Schedule and attend site meetings/project coordination meetings with construction management team and consultants and take meeting minutes
  • Act as a liaison with consultants in expediting drawings and related information
  • Involved in all aspects of project closeout, including PDI’s, archiving documents, maintenance/warranty manuals, deficiencies and warranty work
Summary of Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education - Diploma, or BSc Degree in Engineering, Construction Coordination or related field an asset
  • Previous experience overseeing large high-rise and podium multifamily and commercial projects an asset
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision/direction as well as part of a team, sharing information with others
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word, etc.
