Job Description

MatrixHR is currently recruiting motivated skilled Construction Labourers to join an exciting project with out client located in Surrey BC. The ideal candidates will have thorough experience in construction labour such as opening up drywall, demolition, assisting trades, operating power tools, and possess their own tool pouch and basic tools. Start Date: ASAPLength: OngoingShift: DaysPay:$29.00/hr Location: Surrey BC Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in opening up drywall and performing demolition tasks as required.
  • Operate power tools safely and effectively, including but not limited to saws, drills, and sanders.
  • Prepare work areas by ensuring tools and materials are ready for use.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and to specifications.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues regarding project status and needs.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a construction labourer or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of drywall installation and repair techniques.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of power tools and hand tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings is an asset
  • Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Must have a personal tool pouch and basic tools
