They will manage our social content schedule and be responsible for community management. They will work closely with our marketing team, photographers and designers to support seasonal marketing campaigns. This role is ideal for someone who’s passionate about social media and looking to gain further experience in the industry.As the Social Media Coordinator, you will:Develop social media captions that engage our customers and are based on industry best practices and learnings from our own contentHelp brainstorm and create new content ideas that can be impactful for engagement on our social channelsSchedule our social media content on all owned social media channels, which may include Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and GlassdoorProvide outstanding and timely customer service, working with our Customer Service Representatives to do so when neededMonitor conversations online to engage with our target audience and current customers on our social media platformsReview and analyze social media KPIs on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis by tracking engagement, growth, promoted posts and creating reports to analyze findingsResearch and stay ahead of digital trends and conversations that we should leverageThe successful candidate must have:1 to 2 years in a social media, digital marketing or marketing roleUniversity degree or college diploma in English, Marketing or Communications, or similar fieldsExcellent written and verbal communication, with a keen eye for grammarA passion for social media, social media trends and content creationYou’re a self-motivated, fast learner who enjoys being both a self-starter and collaborating in a team environmentYou’re a strong communicator who can interact effectively with team members and build solid working relationshipsExperience using Later or social media scheduling and reporting software is an assetPurdys Chocolatier recognizes the value of skills and knowledge gained outside of formal education and paid employment.
