ERM is seeking an outstanding professional to join our Smithers, BC, Vancouver, BC, Calgary, AB, Saskatoon, SK, Toronto ON, Montreal QC, or Yellowknife, NT office as a Junior/ Intermediate Ecologist to support our Mining and Energy teams.As a member of the team, you will act as an ecologist in Canada, with capacity to conduct work in various jurisdictions across the country, primarily in western and northern Canada. This person will interact within a multidisciplinary community of toxicologists, hydrologists, freshwater and marine scientists (among other disciplines) and will become a member of an extensive team of global environmental and social experts through our biodiversity Technical Community.This role is designed for an organized ecologist with field experience in ornithology and/or herpetology and/or mammals with expertise in field sampling design, habitat classification, data entry, data analysis, and report writing. This opportunity offers the chance to build one’s career by contributing to baseline and compliance programs related to impact assessment certification, supporting field work for projects in western and northern Canada.
