Whether you are a software developer, product engineer, sales team member, or part of our corporate team, at Ansys we know that by embracing what makes us each unique, we become collectively better.As an Software Development and Testing Intern, you will join the Electronics Business Unit team responsible for the building and maintaining 3D geometry editor at the heart of electromagnetic simulation products.This is a 40-hour per week paid position and is fully remote.RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build tools that automate software development/testing infrastructure processes.
  • Advance software robustness by testing and verifying defect fixes.
  • Conduct interactive and automated testing of user interfaces and simulation results.
  • Learn and employ the best software practices including design and code review.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Pursuing a MS/PhD degree in computer science, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or related technical field.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to University after the completion of the internship program
  • GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Python scripting experience
  • Knowledge and interest in programming, software development and testing.Sharp and tenacious with excellent problem-solving skills.
PERFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Experience with C/C++
  • Knowledge and interest in 3D geometry algorithms, and CAD software development is desired.
