This is an excellent opportunity for an IT professional to leverage their technical experience and customer-centric approach to truly take ownership of the IT support function. This role will explore opportunities to build technical knowledge of its current systems and facilitate the on-going maintenance and evolution of these systems over the coming years.Key elements of the role include:

  • Install, configure, and maintain servers, printers, and other IT equipment; Windows, VMWare ESXi;
  • Manage Cisco Meraki network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs;
  • Monitor infrastructure systems performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Manage user accounts, permissions and access control;
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as backups, updates, and patches to servers;
  • Ensure systems and data are secure by implementing security policies, procedures, and tools;
  • Work with other IT professionals to design and implement IT solutions that meet the companys needs;
  • Create and maintain documentation related to IT systems and procedures, provide presentations;
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
What you Bring:The successful candidate should be experienced in creating and working within clearly defined processes that meet industry standards for security, control and efficiency, preferably with experience working in a hybrid on-prem/cloud environment. You are a first-rate problem-solver that thrives in a fast-paced environment where autonomy is encouraged. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and you possess exceptional customer service and communication skills. Most importantly, you take great pride and ownership in your work, and you want to be part of a team that embraces new technology and innovation.Skills and Requirements:
  • Minimum two-to-three (2-3) years of experience in a Systems Administrator role;
  • Diploma in Computer Information Systems Administration or equivalent work experience;
  • Experience with network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, routers, and VPNs;
  • Experience with Microsoft O365 Admin (Azure AD, Power BI, PowerApps, SharePoint, Intune MDM);
  • Experience with AD, RDS, DNS, GPO, SSL Certs, PowerShell, SAML;
  • Experience with incident/change management best practices (ITIL);
  • Experience with AWS, ConnectWise, DocuSign, Freshservice, Mimecast and Dayforce will be considered an asset;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills – demonstrated confidence and ability in communicating with various levels of the business.
