Job Description

We’re Foodee, a team of food experts on a mission to connect local restaurants to businesses through our corporate catering platform. We help corporations spread the power of good food by curating menus from top local restaurants and delivering them to your office.We’re looking for a Technical Project Manager based remotely in Vancouver, British Columbia, to join our Development team. The ideal candidate is one who is highly motivated and focused with the ability to drive technology projects through their life-cycle, ensuring technical solutions are executed according to plan. This role is responsible for the day-to-day management of technology projects through all stages of the implementation process.*Key responsibilities of this role: *

  • Work closely with the Director of Product, Director of Development and Product Design team on project prioritization, resource allocation and timelines
  • Ensure project progress against defined milestones and deadlines
  • Manage the sprint planning process to ensure it is comprehensive and balanced with team capabilities
  • Maintain project time frames, estimates and status reports
  • Anticipate and resolve problems, bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts within the software development team as it relates to sprint planning and execution
  • Facilitate work completion through servant leadership, decision-making, encouraging discussion and resolving conflicts
  • Assist in software team development through holding teams accountable to their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work, and leveraging cross-functional team skills to improve product backlog throughput
  • Provide oversight and management of work backlogs, the prioritization process and work scheduling and monitoring
  • Act as an escalation path for implementation projects to reset and clarify expectations
Required Skillset/Experience:
  • 5+ Years’ experience with Sprint/Agile project management
  • Foundational knowledge of web application systems & e-commerce
  • Experience in Scrum methodology
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Skilled project manager
  • Results-driven
  • Adept communicator
  • Nice to Have: Experience in food technology platforms
