Job Description

Our BusinessFISPAN is an Enterprise SaaS FinTech start-up that allows for banks to deploy embedded financial products and services to create a seamless banking connection for their corporate clients. Our product aims to provide instant scale and reach for banks who want to remove friction and add value by enabling their commercial banking clients to access banking services through their preferred operational software. Founded in 2016 by respected and renowned entrepreneur Lisa Shields, FISPAN is on a mission to create the best product in the FinTech industry, and fundamentally change the way that companies bank. Being the market leader in ERP-banking, we work with the world’s Tier 1 banks with assets exceeding up to $3T, including J.P. Morgan Chase.With our rapid growth and global expansion, we are looking for dynamic and passionate individuals to join our team and inclusive culture. Being a Vancouver based start-up, our modern and scenic office is located in downtown’s historic Marine Building. The interview process for this position will be entirely remote, with the expectation that the successful candidate will begin out of the Vancouver office and eventually transition to a hybrid working model.Key Responsibilities

  • Creating simplified user content, including process documentation, training guides, FAQ documents, tutorials, and software documentation for the business user experience support and Implementation teams.
    • Create solution-oriented content that perfectly explains how to solve a specific problem
    • Create process flowcharts and transfer information to user documentation
    • Maintain training documentation for new and existing employees ensuring information is always current
    • Maintain knowledge base ensuring all information is accurate and current
    • Create short training videos for employee training and new product features when required
    • Review, edit and update all support and implementation knowledge articles
    • Document new features and changes to products
Key Requirements
  • Currently working towards diploma in technical writing
  • The ability to transform complex, jargon-heavy information into simplified and informative content
  • Knowledge of when and how to insert visual aids such as graphs, images, and tables to make content more engaging
  • Strong Communication skills (both written and oral) and presentation capabilities, with an ability to articulate complex technical information clearly
  • Able to maintain high-quality documentation
  • Self-driven, and able to work independently and with multiple teams
