Role: Test Architect Location: Vancouver Canada -Hybrid onsite Duration: FulltimeRetail experience PreferredAs an Architect you support delivery teams in the development of detailed solution roadmaps for a well-defined set of capabilities or logical group of systems, services or projects. You partner closely with engineers and project management to ensure that implementation meets design expectations. You are proactive in reaching out to architects and leaders in teams with which your technology integrates and you drive results through strong cross-functional collaboration. You serve as the organization #39;s subject matter expert for capabilities in your portfolio and work actively within the Architecture Community of Practice.

• In partnership with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Product Owners, Engineers and other Architects, you provide leadership in defining project requirements and success criteria along with guiding the design throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate and present at architecture design reviews
• Proactively align with key stakeholders, seek organizational context and apply learnings to architecture solutions; be comfortable supporting and communicating with diverse technical and business teams
• Evaluate, document, and escalate alterations to future state architectures
• Communicates trade-offs in different types of engineering and architecture processes and adjust your team #39;s process to meet the needs of the project and others on the team
• Contribute to the growth and strength of the architecture community of practice by actively attending and presenting at community events
• Manage, Recommend and Devise processes which enable gathering Test Metrics which are relevant to the portfolio
• Prepare C4 level architectural and Threat modelling designs as needed
• Develops Test frameworks and actively monitors the progress of the deliverable lifecycle
• Has inclination and attitude to expand the horizon and understand the bird #39;s eye view of the interconnected applications
• Design and push towards incorporating Automation and Performance tests into the pipelines

Qualifications:

• Bachelor #39;s degree or Certification in Networking and Computer Systems or Equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Test Architect experience.
• 4+ Years of experience working on actively programming in any Object-Oriented programming language
• 2+ Years working on any Cloud stack such as AWS or Azure. Any certifications in this regard would be highly valued
• Familiarity with wide variety of Testing Frameworks across Web, API, Event Driven, Microservices and Mobile applications is desirable
• Technical Documentation skills, Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with IT SDLC processes, Agile, Scrum, Kanban
• Compliance requirements such as PII, PCIamp; SOX
• Ability to successfully work with different project teams with competing priorities.
