Job Description

As part of Kabam’s Center of Excellence team, the Total Rewards Specialist is a strategic and highly visible role responsible for developing and maintaining Total Rewards programs and policies. Reporting to the Director, Talent, you have the opportunity to help shape the Total Rewards strategy and usher in the next phase of compensation practices in a fast paced environment. You will play a critical part in leveling up Kabam Managers on total compensation practices.Responsibilities

    • Utilize market intel to continuously improve Kabam’s compensation practices and total benefits philosophy;
    • Provide compensation analysis and recommendations for all newly created positions;
    • Participate in the design, development and revision of Total rewards programs; (ie. variable compensation, incentive programs, US & CAN benefits)
    • Serve as Compensation SME to People Business Partners and Managers to ensure standardization of compensation practices globally.
    • Administration and maintenance of annual bonus plans. Maintain and update all documents, assure all bonus information is tracked, prepare annual bonus payouts for approval. Communication and training on bonus plans for HR and leadership, as needed.
    • Evaluate benefits program effectiveness and contribute to the future roadmap planning
    • Serve as Compensation SME for Company’s Annual Compensation Review;
    • Participate in salary surveys to help maintain internal salary ranges;
    • Utilize people data analytics to provide insights on Total Rewards programs.
Qualifications
    • 3-5 years of experience working directly with employee compensation: preferably as a Compensation Specialist/Analyst but would consider HR Business Partner/Generalist with strong compensation background.
    • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Exceptional attention to detail; demonstrated ability to track, maintain and organize large quantities of information.
    • Exceptional communication skills: must be able to train stakeholders at all levels on complex/technical concepts with a high degree of patience and clarity.
    • Specialized training in Total Rewards or Compensation or Compensation Accreditation is a strong asset
    • Knowledge of pay equity legislation and other pay-related legislation
    • Experience with Aon Radford would be a strong asset.
    • Project management and change management experience.
    • Advanced excel and/or Google Sheets skills
    • Good judgment and discretion with highly confidential and sensitive information.
    • Systems-minded: experience with implementing or developing an HR Information systems or other tools to support compensation management is a strong asset.
    • Experience with US pay and benefits programs is a strong asset
