Job Description

You will be responsible for facilitating live virtual webinars as well as in-person training sessions. Working collaboratively with our Learning Architect, training content will include both the Why and How to use Penny to grow the Direct sales business. Reporting to the Senior Director, Field Enablement, you will also assist with creating content and supporting projects with cross-functional Marketing and Sales teams as required. The successful candidate will be comfortable training large groups and will have the proven ability to engage audiences and learners virtually and in person. We are a software start-up, so to be successful, you will need to demonstrate that you are able to make the complex simple.Responsibilities

  • Identify training needs by working with internal and external partners
  • Translate requirements into training that will help our partners and end-users to successfully use our solutions
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Architect to build/enhance training programs and learning content
  • Direct structured learning experiences and monitor their quality results
  • Deliver online training sessions and occasionally travel to conferences for in-person training
  • Assess training effectiveness, continuously refining best practices
  • Provide reporting on training registration and attendance
  • Periodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changes
  • And other additional responsibilities, as assigned based on business requirements
Requirements
  • Ability to travel for training purposes and organize events in North America and internationally and hold valid travel documents. (Expected travel frequency of twice per quarter, however subject to change as our operations scales)
  • Proven experience engaging live audiences virtually and in-person
  • Knowledge of instructional design theory and learning principles
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods, tools and techniques
  • Sound decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to present complex information, in a simple way, to a variety of audiences
  • Experience in the Direct Sales channel is an asset
  • Technological proficiency and adaptability. Google Workspace, Keynote, PPT.
  • Preferred experience with digital technology and editing software packages (e.g. Avid Media Composer, Lightworks, Premiere, After Effects, Camtasia/Final Cut)
  • Lighting and photography experience would be an asset
  • Creative mind and storytelling skills
  • Excellent speaking, writing, and editing skills in English
  • Time-management skills
  • Previous experience as a Training Facilitator, Content Creator, or similar role
  • Knowledge of traditional and modern educational techniques
  • Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
  • Bilingual in any other language is an asset
