Job DescriptionTITLE: Translator/editor DEPARTMENT: Engagement TERMS: Permanent full-time position (34 hours per week, Monday to Thursday). LOCATION: Montreal (Kanien’kehà:ka territory) WORK ENVIRONMENT: The position is hybrid, with a combination of remote work and 4/month required in-office days. REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Communications SALARY: $60,000 – $70,000 LAST DAY TO APPLY: September 19, 2025 DESIRED START DATE: September/October 2025 TYPE: Unionized Role THE ROLE As a translator/editor for Quebec, your expertise in translating from English into French and in editing French texts is essential. You also have knowledge of various environmental issues, including environmental justice. You will work with the Quebec-based French communications team and other David Suzuki Foundation (DSF) teams to translate and revise texts for external and internal communications. You will excel in your mastery of the French language and will be an indispensable asset in implementing projects that will help the DSF, a bilingual organization, achieve its objectives.
