Join our team and help us keep communities connected.Your OpportunityThe role of a Design Manager is to lead and deliver large, complex infrastructure projects, and help build our transportation sector business in the Lower Mainland. As a Design Manager, you will balance both technical and project management responsibilities, with a focus on leading multi-discipline teams to deliver high quality, innovative solutions. This will involve interfacing directly with clients, stakeholders, contractors and suppliers to represent the firm as our single point of contact on major projects. Your skill set allows you to effectively manage project deliverables, with a focus on budget/schedule controls, quality management, and team collaboration. In terms of execution of the work, you will be responsible for providing direction to the Stantec Team assigned to the project in preparing technical memos, reports, design drawings, technical specifications, and opinions of probable cost (Engineers’ Estimates).
