Learn more about Porte at porte.ca.JOB SUMMARY:The VP, Development will enter a company with a strong base of existing income producing assets and a development pipeline. With a golden opportunity to continue to build on Porte’s existing accomplishments and lead the development of new condominium projects for sale and the re-development of our existing asset base.Reporting to the President and working closely alongside our Senior Leadership team, the VP will oversee the project development through all phases of planning, development, construction, and marketing and sales through to completion.To align with our exciting growth trajectory, the VP will lean on their strong entrepreneurial spirit to challenge themselves and the team to exceed growth targets. With a long-tenured background in development, the VP possesses an existing network of government and key partners, including lenders and consultants that can be drawn upon to best lead the business interests of Porte’s properties.Our ideal candidate is a champion of the employee experience, modelling and providing leadership and mentoring to their team. You are comfortable sitting at the leadership table, creating and driving strategy for the development business, while providing input into other areas of the company.
