You’re comfortable both in front and behind the camera, and will be creating engaging videos and tutorials as both a host and editor! You’re also a creative thinker with excellent writing and research skills!Your primary mission will be in conceptualizing, designing, and executing innovative video outreach and for Doteasy. In addition, you will be responsible for researching and writing the scripts for the videos, as well as editing the videos.Doteasy offers web hosting solutions to help individuals and businesses build an online presence. Everything, from development to customer support, is provided in-house in Vancouver, BC.All about you:

  • You’re not camera-shy - you’re comfortable demonstrating products, methods and services in front of a camera.
  • You’re capable in raising the bar on creativity, writing fresh copy that connects with the desired audience and drives action.
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • You have a knack for approaching members of the public in a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing manner.
  • You pay attention to the details - you have a keen eye for quality.
  • You’re a team player with a positive and cooperative attitude.
  • You’re okay with not having all the answers - but you’re willing to keep learning.

  • While video editing experience is an asset, we’ll train the right person if we think you’re awesome!

Your key responsibilities:
  • Presenting products and services as the on-camera host for our video materials.
  • Co-producing and editing audio & video materials for Doteasy and its associated brands.
  • Being the host for live webinars or seminars in the future.
  • Assisting in the development of collateral material; including writing and editing promotional copy, contributing to creative content, etc.
  • Other exciting assignments as the position evolves!
