Job Description

Position: Seasonal Videographer/Camera OperatorDuration: February - June 2025Location: Nationwide travel across CanadaCompany Overview: DanceBUG, a trailblazer in Dance Media and Software, is renowned for its cutting-edge solutions in the dance community. We specialize in distributing and streaming dance media through our platform, DanceBUG.comCelebrated as the industry standard in Dance Videography and Photography, we have been serving the dance community for nearly 25 years with innovative products like “Video Judge” and a comprehensive suite of software for Registration, Scheduling, Tabulation, and Streaming.What we Do at DanceBUG: Check out this link = gt;https://youtu.be/I6wJsZcP8oI Role Overview:DanceBUG is seeking passionate and skilled Videographers/Camera Operators to join our dynamic team. This role involves traveling nationwide to capture and stream dance competitions, recitals, and workshops.Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage video, audio, and streaming equipment on-site.
  • Conduct daily video and audio tests to ensure quality.
  • Record and log performances as well as manage the live broadcast.
  • Upload and/or ship data as required.
  • Communicate with your assigned Coach, Managers, and Onsite Contacts weekly.
  • Travel to events as required.
Requirements:
  • 4+ years as a Videographer/Camera Operator.
  • Expertise in camera settings and audio management.
  • Proficiency with Windows and basic editing software (DaVinci, Premiere a plus).
  • Ability to manage data and work “production” hours.
  • Valid Canadian Driver’s License.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Comfortable with loud music, flashing lights, and extended periods of stationary work.
  • Must pass a Criminal Background and Vulnerable Sector check.
