Like the finest of home-brewed ales, our campaigns are crafted with care, skill, and attention to detail.POSITION SUMMARY:Were looking for a full-time Content Creator to work remotely/on-set in the Vancouver, BC area. Youll be working with a fantastic team that manages behind-the-scenes and special shoot content capture for multiple TV Networks, Motion Picture Studios, Streaming Services, and Brands. As an integral member of our A/V Team, the Content Creator will be responsible for assigned campaigns, including leading brainstorming sessions, concept development and write-up, show and client approvals, and on-set capture of content via cell phone and/or prosumer camera equipment (post-production/editing is NOT required for this position).The Content Creator will conceptualize and capture content for social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, Discord, Reddit, etc. Content will consist of still and video content, including interviews, scripted pieces, time-lapses, tours, on-set culture, action shots, show/cast announcements and updates, events, etc.This role requires the Content Creator to be highly collaborative, working across the organization with multiple stakeholders to determine content strategy and specifics, as well as with a large and diverse group of on-camera talent, team members, partners, and stakeholders. Ultimately, however, content capture will be the sole responsibility of the Content Creator, requiring confidence to work independently to identify content opportunities on set in real-time and to be able to leverage opportunities or pivot ideas as needed during shooting.REQUIREMENTSVancouver, BC based with the ability to work studio production hours (including early mornings, late evenings and weekends) 40 hours per week, beginning July 11, 2022.Fully COVID vaccinated and willing to follow all Covid protocols (including regular testing, wearing PPE, etc.) as required on set.Proven knowledge of social media platforms strategy and technical requirements - including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, etc.Ability to identify content opportunities on set, to recognize and pivot with content ideas as needed during shooting.Proven work experience in social media and understanding of social trends.Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in digital and multimedia, including videography and video editing, or related field.Technical video production experience, knowledge of equipment, lighting, set ups, etc.Proven ability to work effectively with a large and diverse group of on-camera talent, team members, partners, and stakeholders.Proficiency in GSuite is expected.An understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, After Effects, etc.) is a plus.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESAttends required show production and strategy meetings, both internal and with clients.Coordinates shoot dates/details with studio executives and show production staff.Facilitates, schedules, and participates in brainstorms generating on-set social content capture ideas for assigned shows.Presents on-set social capture concepts to studio executives for review and approval.Translates on-set capture requests from studio executives into actionable shooting plans and delivery timelines.Coordinates scripting with assigned copywriters as needed for on-set social capture sessions.Captures on-set content, social video, and still photo content (via cell phone or prosumer still/video equipment) and manages raw file transfer in a timely fashion.Works directly with studio executives and show production staff (as needed) to ensure on-set social content capture matches strategy and vision.Stays up-to-date with all technical changes in all social platforms.QUALIFICATIONSCinematic eye and video/photo technical skills.Strong project management, time management, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to function in and adapt appropriately to a fast-moving, cross-unit team environment.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and projects concurrently.Strong attention to detail and excellent follow-through.Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt to new production systems and workflows.Prior experience handling confidential content with appropriate discretion.Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively.The correct balance of passion, patience and flexibility to ensure all on-set capture days are successful.Interest and excitement in social media.BENEFITSFull-time 40-hour position2 Weeks Vacation, 5 Sick Days, 9-10 Company Paid HolidaysMedical, Dental, Vision Plans401(k) with Company Match ProgramBasic Life and AD&DShort-Term DisabilityLong-Term DisabilityRefocus Time/Sabbatical after 5 Years of ServiceJob Type: Full-timePay: $70,447.02-$83,255.58 per yearSchedule:
