This position will also take over the development and management of events and activities related to student recruitment, alumni relations, and outreach for the 2-year time period.The incumbent typically works a standard day; however, flexibility is required as some responsibilities require an irregular schedule, including evenings or weekends.Organizational StatusReports directly to the Manager, Student Services.Works closely with and receives direction from the Communications & Community Engagement Officer and the Associate Head of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion and Engagement.Works in close collaboration with other support staff in the Mechanical Engineering office and within the Department as a whole; Liaises with a wide variety of UBC, and external (colleges, high schools), units in execution of duties; Provides day-to-day supervision to Work Learn and/or Co-op students, and recruits, trains, and supervises volunteers.Work Performed
