Job Description

Bureau Veritas is looking for a Warehouse Associate in Vancouver, BC.Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the position of Warehouse Associate is primarily responsible for organizing client samples for storage, inventory tracking and deliver consumables as needed to support operations.As a Warehouse Associate, your responsibilities are:Log and store samples into LIMS as set out in established standard proceduresEnsure all files/boxes/rejects stored at the warehouse are recorded into storage areas for timely retrieval as requestedRespond to client requests for disposal and returns that have passed free storage period and perform quality check to ensure accuracyMaintain lab requirements of supplies when needed and transport samples/rejects into warehouse storageOperate and maintain equipment according to written instructionsComply with all BV policies, occupational safety regulations, laboratory safety procedures, and the requirements of all applicable Quality System SOPsInteracts with all other essential functions and personnel in BVCC when necessaryOther duties as assigned or required from time to timeYou are an ideal Warehouse Associate if you have:Minimum completion of high school educationForklift driving ticket and hazardous goods handling/transportation an asset – company training will be provided if neededMust have a valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License or equivalentExcellent English, verbal and writtenStrong organizing with focus on workplace safetyAble to work independently and as a part of a teamDetail oriented and excellent time management skillsLocation: Bay 35 403 Kent Avenue, Vancouver, BC V5X 4M2Being part of the BV family, is more than just working, it’s being convinced that you will Leave your mark in shaping a world of trust.Join our talented community of scientists and experts and apply today at http://bvlabs.com/careers/current-opportunities
