(BDI) is looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to support Global Warehouse and Logistic (GWL) based out of Richmond/BC, Mississauga/ON, or Mirabel/QC BDI warehouses. Candidate will lead BDI warehouse operations and respective teams. Successful candidate has good organizational, analytical, and troubleshooting skills and is highly motivate and self-directed with strong leadership skills.Position Responsibilities:

  • Responsible to manage operations/activities ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through a warehouse and meeting customer delivery requirements.
  • Establish and maintain appropriate processes and systems for measuring and reporting all necessary aspects of operational performance, and for establishing timely and thorough corrective action plans for underperforming areas of concern or delinquent development initiatives within agreed formats.
  • Monitor, drive and lead the teams and daily warehouse activities.
  • Responsible to drive and meet all regulatory requirements and meeting operational needs.
  • Responsible for all tasks and necessary actions to assure a proper process & communication flow within a site to meet departmental and company key results.
  • Work to ensure customer satisfaction in on-time delivery and quality.
  • Properly organize, manage and develop direct reporting staff, and establish identification, development, and retention programs for all high-potential individuals.
  • Manage and control departmental expenditures and identify expense reduction potentials in support of company key results.
  • Plan, develop, and implement department goals in support of annual key results.
  • Liaise and collaborate with other key stakeholder as well as ensure activities meet with and integrate with organizational requirements and company policies including but not limited to: Code of Conduct, Export Compliance, QA management / procedures and HS&E.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Richmond, BC.Employer is not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • 6+ years of Warehouse Operations related work experience
  • Experience in global cross functional environment, Warehouse Management, Logistics, customer service, and Supply Chain
  • 1+ years of project management experience
  • 3+ years of experience in MS Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Lean Principles/ISO
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada
Preferred Qualifications (Education/Experience):
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field of study
