Job Description

Its a passion to find the best in whole, natural, and organic foods.Westpoint Naturals is looking for an energetic and motivated person, with a strong work ethic to join our team. This position is responsible for picking and packing orders, receiving and unloading inventory and preparing orders for shipment.This opportunity is on our day shift, Monday to Friday 8:30-5p. We are located a 5-min walk from the Cambie Skytrain station.Essential Duties:

  • Pick orders accurately, pull and stage product for shipping
  • Receive, count and unload inventory
  • Report damages to product or equipment to warehouse manager
  • Must be able to work independently
  • Work well under pressure, with the ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Pick products from stock bins to fill orders
  • Check quality of products for the order
  • Apply correct labels to packaged products
  • Pack products in boxes and apply shipping labels
  • Provide box count to office for waybill for each order
  • Put invoice in final box and check waybill
  • Wrap pallets before shipping
  • Oversee loading of orders in courier vehicles
  • Unload products when shipments arrive and inspect for damage
  • Take photos of each shipment received
  • Unpack shipments and restock warehouse shelves
  • Collect COD payments from returning couriers and bring to office
  • Keep loading dock areas tidy and organized
  • Keep products and equipment tidy and organized
  • Dispose of all garbage
  • Perform all tasks within the Companys safety standards
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Able to lift 55 lb on a daily basis
  • Able to stand for 8 hours per day
  • Able to use a pallet jack (no forklift)
  • Able to read, write and speak English
Preferred Skills & Experience:
  • Warehouse or food industry experience
  • Spoken/Written English
