Job descriptionWe are looking for a Wellness Coordinator who has experience working with kids, youth, and teens. We seek positive role models that are patient, kind, reliable, respectful, creative, dedicated, and love to build relationships and community. You are experienced and trained in different wellness modalities and have experience teaching these. Please include a recent Criminal Record Check if you have one. A CRC is required.We have adventure camps for kids (ages 6-9), youth camp (ages 10-12), and a teen theatre camp. Locations include White Pine Beach, Westhill Park, Old Orchard Park, Rocky Point, Lions Park, and more. A reliable car is recommended. Adventure camp hours are between 9 am - 4 pm Monday-Friday. The Wellness Coordinators schedule has flexibility.The position will include, but is not limited to:Building communities of empathy, kindness, and respectSharing health and wellness self-care in an engaging and age-friendly wayMentoring those who seek or needLeading wellness funshops for kids and teensLeading wellness workshops for staff and volunteers (and perhaps parents)Full time- 35 hours per weekThe position will generally be outdoors.
