Our machineryamp; equipment department is looking for an Equipment|Maintenance superintendant on site who #39;s responsible for the implementation and assurance of preventive maintenance programs and the repairs of EBC equipment. The selected candidate will be assigned to the Stanley Park project and will ensure that the objectives planned for his sector of activity are met, while controlling costs in accordance with the directives, as well as ISO and health and safety program procedures. Finally, the person will also supervise a group of mechanics and maintenance staff. Responsibilities - Ensures the coordination of equipment maintenance and repairs within established deadlines to optimize site productivity;- Supervises work assignments to achieve production objectives while respecting the quality and health and safety standards of the maintenance department; - Manages their staff by ensuring that activities are carried out in a safe and healthy environment and that policies and procedures are followed; - Ensures communication between site operations and maintenance department; - Participates in hiring processes and coordinates the work schedules of maintenance employees; - Ensures that equipment complies with applicable laws and standards; - Works with existing business systems and processes of the department and able to use and integrate new technologies. RequirementsRequirements - Heavy equipment mechanic certification (red seal) or any equivalent;- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory position;- Knowledge of construction regulations;- Knowledge of Microsoft office suite, such as Excel, Word, Outlook, CMMS.
