We #39;re seeking exceptional, experienced Security Professionals with OFA 3/ Advanced First Aid Guard for our high-profile Remote camp site near Vanderhoof. This opportunity promises a professional environment and competitive wages as part of our commitment to a living wage.Hours of work: 12-hour shifts, 14 days on 14 days offWages: $31.34 per hour (Annual earnings up to $85,000)What #39;s in it for YOU!

• Clean private room, which includes, Bed, A/C, TV and desk, small closet.
• Housekeeping - sheet changing and room cleaning
• Meals are provided - meals, includes a daily breakfast, lunch and dinner, and after-hours snack/food available, support any dietary restrictions.
• Health and Wellness - workout gym, running and bike machines, lounge, playroom, media room
• Free Wi-Fi in each room

What you would do:

• Observe and report suspicious activity, and report security breaches
• Respond to incident/emergency situations and follow protocol
• Provide perimeter security coverage
• Provide access control and ensure there is no unauthorized access to the site
• Maintain a logbook and regular radio check ins and security report writing duties
• Patrolling of designated areas in an outdoor environment
• Provide a visual security presence - detecting and deterring unauthorized persons
• Coordinating and liaising with the police or emergency personnel when required
• Adhere to Securiguard #39;s core Values, Vision, Mission statement

What you would bring:

• Valid BC Security License
• Previous security experience is an asset
• Class 5 Driver #39;s License with a clean driving abstract and claims history

• Previous experience in Advanced First Aid (previously OFA 3) or the ability to complete the certification.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfort working in a wilderness setting
• Must be able to pass drug and alcohol test, the camp is dry.
