  • Oversees the supervision and control of Department budgets;
  • Liaises with the Finance department for monitoring and queries related to the management of budgets;
  • Prepares requisitions, cheque requisitions, service contracts, Capital budget requests including payment follow-up for all areas within the Student Services Department in collaboration with the appropriate managers and professionals;
  • Liaises with Human Resource Services on all matters related to hiring;
  • Monitors all Time Management forms for the Department;
  • Processes all student hiring forms as well as preparation of their timesheets;
  • Is responsible for the organization and coordination of the student agenda including content, printing and follow-up with other departments in the College;
  • Participates in the organization and delivery of Info Sessions for new students, as well as other Departmental Initiatives;
  • Is responsible for gathering and updating documentation for the Department for College promotion;
  • Assists in the preparation of surveys (Omnivox and other);
  • Collects and prepares reports from various databases and sources.
Sports Complex Administration:
  • Prepares the rental contracts and coordinates the collection of rental revenues from clients;
  • Provides administrative support to the department of Sports Complex for a variety of tasks which includes casual contracts and coaches’ contracts.
Other related tasks which fall within the scope of the classification of this position may be assigned.Classification: Technicien ou technicienne en administration (Administration Technician)Requirements :Qualifications:
  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) in administration with an appropriate specialty, or a diploma or an attestation of studies which is recognized as equivalent by the competent authority.

  • Excellent English and Strong French oral and written competencies (to be tested);
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel (to be tested);
  • Proven aptitude for working with detailed information with accuracy;
  • Strong organizational skills;
  • Capacity to offer excellent quality service to our clientele while ensuring confidentiality and discretion;
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, as well as an active team member.
