Job Description

The Opportunity: XTL Transport Inc. is looking for a dynamic Class 1 Driver to join our outstanding U.S division based in Vaudreuil or Quebec. At XTL, we understand the importance of our customers and their satisfaction. Our customers #39; needs and expectations are at the forefront of our operations, and we strive to deliver exceptional service at every turn.1 Schedule available:Schedule: 5 to 6 days per week , weekend shift starting on Thursday to MondayRequirements:

  • Must have valid Class 1 License - mandatory
  • 1 year of Class 1 driving experience/ 6 months CFTR experience - mandatory
  • Clean Drive Abstract - preferred
  • Clear Criminal search – mandatory

Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive tractors and move freight in a safe and responsible manner assigned by XTL Transport Inc. , while in compliance with all laws and transportation regulations while maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Maintain compliance with XTL Transport policies and procedures, while working safely.
  • As an XTL Driver Ambassador, establish and maintain positive working relationships with the primary contacts at each account
  • Complete all necessary paperwork fully and accurately
  • In collaboration with the dispatch team, get the opportunity to drive dedicated routes
  • Able to keep an activities e-log and log hours efficiently
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards customers
  • Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
  • Collect and verify delivery instructions
