You will provide information to our customers regarding Sysco products and services to ensure customer satisfaction.Role Responsibilities:- Responsible for identifying problems and/or concerns from customers and the ability to communicate effectively to solve them.- Key in same day deliveries, fill out appropriate forms, and get signatures for same days, past cut-off orders, etc.- Input orders accurately into the computer system.- Handle the submission of all orders with accuracy in a timely fashion, confirmation and releasing for picking.- Ensure copies of the sales order pick tickets and processing labels are provided to appropriate personnel (Production Manageramp; Selectors).- Monitor daily sales / margins to ensure our targets are met and all transactions are correct.- Co-ordinate all product return requests between customers and company- Ensure special order items are placed accurately with correct lead time.- Monitor order cut-off times/days based on specific customers / territories.- Review credit hold list. Work with credit manager to have orders released on time.- Creating POS materials internally for the sales team.- Assist outside sales staff requests for catalogs, information, POS, order guides and quotations.- Setup and maintain customer files.- Answer product inquiries as needed via email, text and telephone.- Manage all social media platforms.- Ensure all emails are addressed, maintained and organized before the end of the daily shift.- Various clerical duties relating to the sales desk, such as mailing, faxing, photocopying, promotional events tracking, etc.- Provide assistance to other members of the sales team- Complies with Sysco #39;s Food Safety Policy and procedures to ensure food safety, quality and legality requirements are met.- Is willing to work safely with minimal environmental impact and understands the importance of reporting all hazards, incidents, and environmental spills immediately to their Supervisor.- Understands that they play an integral role in their own safety and that of their colleagues and is willing to speak out when hazards are present.- Perform other duties as assigned.Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements (About you):- 1-2 years #39; work experience, preferably in a customer service, call center, or food service environment- Inventoryamp; POS systems experience is strongly preferred- High school diploma required- Post-Secondary education is an asset- Intermediate PC skills (Microsoft Office suite, outlook, etc.).- Advanced keyboarding skills with the ability to talk and type simultaneously.- Telephony/Customer Service system knowledge or previous operating experience preferred- Superior communication skills, both oral and written.- Basic math and reading comprehensionsInternal candidates apply via the Career Centre on your HR Portal / ADP Workforce Now.External candidates submit cover letteramp; resume via www.sysco.ca/careersOur Purpose:Connecting the world to share food and care for one anotherOur Mission:Delivering success for our customers through industry-leading people, products and solutionsOur Identity:Together we define our future of foodservice and supply chainSysco is committed to Employment Equity.
