Overview:Starting $21.00/hrThis is a seasonal position March 2024-September 02, 2024Candidates Must be 18+ years of age. Candidates must have overnight availability Late April - Septemeber.   • Oversee daily activities of a small crew and ensure tasks are completed in a timely and safe manner.
  • Operate commercial/municipal maintenance equipment to assist in the completion of site cleanup program (tractor, sweeper, scrubber, loader, vacuum, heavy truck).
  • Operate machinery to assist in the implementation of other property maintenance programs, including turf maintenance (mowing, trimming, seeding, sodding, fertilizing, aerating, topdressing, irrigating), or vehicle/equipment maintenance (cleaning, sanding, hand painting).

Qualifications:
  • You!
  • Previous leadership experience (preferred).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the operation and routine preventive maintenance of various types of heavy commercial equipment in a commercial, municipal, or golf course setting.
  • Familiarity with the Occupational Healthamp; Safety Act.
  • Individuals certified with C.P.R. Basic Rescuer/First Aid (an asset).
  • Individuals who can provide their own CSA approved footwear.
  • A valid Ontario Driver’s License (class G/G2) with a clean abstract.
  • Availability that includes working flexible, rotating shifts from 12:00 am to 9:00 am during the full time operating season with frequent overtime.
