Job Description

Overview:CANDIDATE PROFILE:We are looking for a team-oriented individual to join our Operations Division.The successful candidate will be a strong leader with proven organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced team environment. SCOPE OF POSITION:Assist Manager with the co-ordination and operations of the Rides department to ensure we meet our guest and associate expectations in a safe and Responsibilities:

  • Promoting and enforcing department standards and goals
  • Overseeing daily operations of assigned area while ensuring the park safety standards are upheld
  • Work with supervisory team to maintain departmental consistency
  • Provide training, direction and development for supervisory team
  • Monitoring staffing levels for assigned area
  • Develop, Execute and monitor training, motivation and performance management for assigned area
  • Ensure all scheduling and labour budget for assigned area is monitored and maintained
  • Assist with long term planning, budgets, coordination or ride downtime calls, coordination of audits, creation of leadership workshops, development of initiatives to improve associate performance, overseeing in-service training programs and other projects as assigned by full time management team
  • Assist with additional projects as required
Qualifications:
  • Proven leadership skills and prior work experience in a managerial/supervisor role is essential
  • Able to work independently, meet deadlines and work under pressure to produce results
  • Energetic, confident and professional manner
  • Proven guest service skills and experience with conflict resolution
  • Demonstrate exceptional leadership qualities
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, on weekends, holidays and weekends in September – December
