Quarter Cuts Ltd. is a butcher shop located 20 minutes south of Vermilion, AB. We are looking to add one full time employee to our business, to start immediately.Qualifications of the successful applicant include:

• ability to lift 60 lbs
• ability to work using dangerous equipment (band saw, meat slicer, meat mixer, grinder)
• ability to work in colder temperatures
• regular and dependable attendance
• strong compliance to safety procedures and guidelines
• reliable transportation to and from the facility
• maintain proper personal hygiene
• ability to work well with others and work independently with minimal supervision
• positive attitude towards the business and its customers
• willingness to keep a very clean work space, includes doing dishes and cleaning larger equipment, floors and walls.
• ability to work on a harvest floor one day per week

We are looking to hire immediately. Only successful applicants will be contacted.We work Monday-Thursday from 6:00AM - 4:30PM. Longer hours and extra days may be required, especially during the month of November as this is our peak season for wild game intake.We are looking to hire an experienced butcher who has the knowledge how to trim, cut steaks & tie roasts, and break down a side of beef. Wage is dependent on previous experience, and performance. We are looking to hire an employee for a long term career.
