Job Description

NOTE: Applicants must attach a resume to their application.JOB SUMMARY:The incumbent of this position coordinates the administrative tasks of Laboratory Services. Filters and redirects telephone calls. Organizes meetings and writes minutes. Compiles monthly statistics. Performs tasks related to staff payroll and general office work. Participates in orienting staff. Also carries out all other related tasks, as per the needs of the departments.REQUIREMENTS:

  • Secondary school diploma or general education diploma (GED) plus an office management diploma from a program over one year and up to two years in length or equivalent;
  • Two years’ previous experience;
  • Excellent writing and revising skills;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and using the Internet;
  • Superior organizational and time management and prioritization skills;
  • Ability to rapidly organize meetings or any other activities;
  • Ability to perform several tasks simultaneously on various files;
  • Responsibility and independence in performing tasks and follow-up;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Active listening, open mindedness, flexibility, creativity, discretion and tact;
  • Drive, motivation, initiative and foresight;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Physical ability to perform assigned work;
  • Good work history (performance and attendance);
  • Adherence to professional ethics principles, the Network’s management philosophy and organizational values;
  • Adherence to Vitalité Health Network’s confidentiality rules.
